In my experience, it tends to be a skill learned with time, so when a new and mid-level leader rises up through the ranks for success in a tactical role, it makes sense that it would take them a while to get their bearings and reach their full potential. I provide guidance and listen, reflect, and challenge them to explore new possibilities and ways of thinking so they can accelerate that learning and become confident new leaders long after our work is done.
It is not an easy process, but the result is a leader who is confident, insightful, and inspired to drive their organization to success for the rest of their career. And I promise to make it fun, too!
WHAT MAKES ME
I was a mid-level manager with a large team and many frustrations.
I understand how lonely it is at the top and how leaders can often be afraid to show they don't have the answers because I was there. And I have 20 years of expertise in leadership coaching and development, women's leadership, culture and facilitation across 4 different industries with leaders and individuals of all levels.
I am not just coaching from a book. I have the rare ability to blend experience, theory, and effectiveness to come up with customized plans that work in the real world.
I am true, unbiased thought partner for my clients, allowing them to feel heard in a genuine way, yet challenging them to innovate and see things differently. I don't do a prescribed approach or canned solutions, but rather meet people where they are at and we explore the solution that feels right now.
